When the unit comes into contact with an eligible defendant, the outstanding warrant is quickly recalled, the case is placed back onto the appropriate docket, and the defendant is given a notice of appearance for the new court date. For those not eligible, information is given regarding case status and details on how to satisfy court obligations.
