
Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 2907.27(b) and Section 2921.38, and pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code violations listed wherein, the court, on the request of the prosecutor, victim, or the law enforcement agency responsible for the investigation of the violation, can order a defendant to submit to testing to determine if the defendant has a sexually transmitted or communicable disease. The results of those tests must be submitted to the court according to the applicable Ohio Revised Code statute. This agency communicates with defendants who have been released on bond to provide information regarding testing requirements, ensures test results have been submitted to the court timely, and informs the court of instances of a defendant’s failure to follow court order.
