Appearing In Court

Appearing In Court

Check Your Ticket, Citation or Subpoena

You should have been given a ticket, citation, subpoena or other paperwork telling you where to appear. Please check that paperwork. If you did not receive anything telling you where to appear, or cannot find the paperwork, please refer to Court Hearing Information.

If you have a traffic ticket/citation, see Traffic Cases.

Please Arrive Early

If you are scheduled to appear in the Hamilton County Courthouse: 1000 Main St., Cincinnati, OH 45202, please plan to arrive at least thirty (30) minutes before your scheduled court appearance to allow sufficient time to pass through Courthouse security. All persons visiting the Courthouse are required to go through a metal detector. All weapons are confiscated and may not be returned. Being late for court often has the same result as not showing up at all; see Failure to Appear in Court.

Courtrooms A & B

If you are scheduled to appear in Courtrooms A & B, they are located in the Justice Center (the jail), which is located behind the Courthouse. All persons visiting these courtrooms are required to go through a metal detector. All weapons are confiscated and may not be returned.

1000 Sycamore St., Cincinnati, OH 45202.
